Job Summary
Essential Job Duties
- Conduct scientific analysis of experimental results related to molecular and developmental biology (PCR, plasmid preparation, in situ hybridizations, microscopy and histological techniques).
- Lamprey husbandry.
- Interpret experimental findings with PIs.
- Keep detailed records of experimental research.
- Will contribute to assembling publications.
- Perform other related duties assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- BS degree or higher with 2 years of relevant scientific research experience.
- Experience with molecular biology and embryology of model organisms like Lamprey.
- Must be able to work well with others and keep accurate records, with precise attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with embryology of model organisms, such as lamprey, and background in phylogenomic and molecular biology (in situ hybridizations, PCR, cloning).
