The Goddard School located in Erie, CO is a renowned program with a Piaget (Learning through Play) based foundation for children from 6 weeks to 6 years. We are seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher.

The Goddard School of Erie is looking for an Infant Teacher to work with children ages 6 weeks to 12 months years old and Preschool Teacher to work with children between 3-4 years old.

The ideal candidate will be:

• flexible
• energetic
• have knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.

Job responsibilities include:

· Observe classroom carefully to ensure all children are learning in a safe, constructive environment

· Preparing classroom materials for daily activities

· Communication with co-workers and parents

· Maintain an organized, comfortable, and clean classroom

· Assist the Lead Teacher with planning and implementing daily lessons

Qualifications:

· Must meet the State of Colorado requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher.

Our program is play-based and uses emergent curriculum as the foundation for children's early learning. We value our faculty and allow our teachers the autonomy to lesson plan using a variety of resources such as Creative Curriculum, Conscious Discipline, Teaching Strategies Gold and more
