Description
Fastener distributor in Alsip seeking a production/utility worker. Current opening is on first shift, Monday through Thursday 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 1pm. Benefits available include health and dental insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation, and 401k plan.Duties include but not limited to:
Set up and operation of fastener packaging machines. Material handling including use of forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck. Loading materials into packaging machines.
Assist with building maintenance. Assist warehouse supervisors with special projects. Assist with maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Use of hand and power tools.
Requirements:
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Basic computer (Windows PC) skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Prior machine setup and operation are desirable, but not required.
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
