Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Emergency Medicine Resident Program Director to the group at Lincoln Medical Center. The hospital is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers.
The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Weill-Cornell Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Responsibilities
The Department of Emergency Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln is recruiting a highly motivated and talented program director to lead the Emergency Medicine Residency Program. The program director will lead a team that provides outstanding education and clinical experience to the Emergency Medicine residents. They will actively participate in resident education and evaluation in line with departmental academic goals in addition to leading curriculum reform. The program director will also lead efforts in residency recruitment and should support wellness initiatives, efforts in diversity, equity, & inclusion, and be an excellent role model for trainees.
The program director will work clinically in the Lincoln Emergency Department alongside the dedicated faculty, residents, and staff. The position includes 50% protected time for residency administration.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an assistant or associate residency program director. The candidate should demonstrate a strong interest and skill in resident education and leadership.
