Respite Services
Provides at-home respite to the primary caregivers of the developmentally disabled (sometimes at school sites). Services also include providing the patient with basic instructions to care for themselves, such as dressing, grooming, etc.


JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE


The Respite Care Admin Specialist I provides experience-based competencies and administrative assistance to further efforts of the program staff to fulfill the contracted goals and objectives.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain client and employee records
  • Address Funder administrative requirements
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed.

Qualifications:


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications

EDUCATION:


  • Associate's degree in Social Work (or related discipline) or a combination of relevant education and experience (2 years).

EXPERIENCE:


  • 1 year of experience in administration of a social services organization (assisting programs, projects, or staff)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience with managing public contacts (e.g. HUD ESG, SAMHSA)
  • Experience with report development for public funders
  • Experience with HMIS and other relevant databases used by partner service providers
  • Ability to work with people from various backgrounds and/or limited English capabilities
