Salary Range:

$38,732 - $61,841
Responsibilities

  • Screens telephone calls and visitors, independently handles routine matters and forwards the
- reminders to appropriate parties.

  • Schedules and coordinates meetings for AVP and Dean of Students
  • Makes travel arrangements for AVP and Dean of Students following general instructions and campus procedure. Performs necessary followup for vouchers, expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Edits, formats and revises a variety of documents and materials created by others.
  • Composes responses to response to routine inquiries in accordance to general instructions.
  • Develops and implements and maintain paper and electronic filing systems which meet department needs and satisfy requirements.
  • Gathers and consolidates background information for reports utilizing available resources such as departmental files policy and procedure documents, Internet research and communication with internal and external contacts.
  • Orders supplies and equipment. Oversees equipment maintenance.
  • May assist with department budget, updating department accounts and creating routine reports.
  • Assist Student Experience with related programs and events.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of experience providing administrative support.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to proofread and edit written documents.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external parties in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple and continuing assignments with general instructions.
