Job Description:

Providing care for children and adolescents in a communal housing facility with various support needs
Creatively and independently planning, preparing, and conducting activities for the children and adolescents (especially during school holidays)
Advising and supporting parents and children with enrollment in daycare and school
Identifying and caring for children and adolescents with special protection and support needs
Developing an intercultural care concept
Collaborating with the Youth and Health Office

Requirements:

Professional training as a statecertified educator and/or a comparable personal professional qualification for childcare or at least three years of professional experience in the childcare field
Empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to working with children
Strong communication skills
Professional experience working with refugees
Conflict management skills and intercultural competence
Excellent knowledge of the German language, knowledge of a second relevant foreign language for the housing facility is desired (preferably Persian, Arabic, Russian)
