Job Summary:
Duties:
- Experience in home health services is highly desired
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information
- Assist with managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and physical
- Perform data entry tasks and update databases as needed
- Provide general administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members when necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is a plus
- Experience in a medical office or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Previous experience in office management or file management is a plus
