Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Experience in home health services is highly desired
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
  • Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information
  • Assist with managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
  • Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and physical
  • Perform data entry tasks and update databases as needed
  • Provide general administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is a plus
  • Experience in a medical office or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Previous experience in office management or file management is a plus
