- Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
- Current Ohio License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Basic Life Support(BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
- If in an ED, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire or within one year of beginning work in the Emergency Department.
- One year of patient care experience preferred.
- Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand coordination.
- Involves extensive standing and walking.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

On our G80 General Internal Medicine Unit, you will be caring for adult patients with complex multi-system failure issues, such as congestive heart failure and sepsis.
You will also be taking care of patients with Nutritional Deficiencies, which is unique to our G80 unit, as well as patients requiring ongoing cardiac monitoring.
An LPN in this role is familiar with performing patient care activities, documenting patient care, administering medication, observing patients' health, and maintaining/restocking medical equipment and supplies.
