Position
Responsible for various types of dynamic every changing mechanical assembly; engines, electrical, hydraulic, etc. onto various salt spreaders of manufactured product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.


Responsibilities

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
  • Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners; fits, trims, aligns and adjusts parts and components.
  • Uses a variety of hand and power tools along with inspection equipment, conventional and precision measuring instruments.
  • Tests installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality.
  • Performs inspections to ensure assemblies comply with applicable requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, or equivalent
  • Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Oneyear of assembly experience preferred, including experience with hand tools and power tools.
