    Dishwashers play a vital role in ensuring all kitchenware and related items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. They also assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen area. Additional cleaning tasks may be assigned based on restaurant-specific needs.


    Essential Functions

    • Operate dishwashing equipment and cleaning tools
    • Clean, sanitize, and dry kitchen utensils, equipment, and other items as directed
    • Flexible availability including weekends and varied shifts
    • Efficiently use tools and equipment
    • Clear communication and ability to follow instructions
    • Maintain composure and efficiency under pressure
    • Adapt to varying work conditions
    • Lift and move items within specified weight limits
    • Stand and walk throughout the shift, navigating different areas of the restaurant

    Key Responsibilities and Duties

    • Maintain a steady workflow to prevent dish backlog
    • Organize and restock items post-cleaning
    • Monitor temperatures as needed
    • Report equipment issues promptly
    • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies
    • Support overall cleanliness of the kitchen and restrooms
    • Dispose of garbage ensuring cleanliness and coverage
    • Adhere to safety and sanitation standards
    • Follow employee handbook and workplace regulations
    • Collaborate effectively with colleagues
    • Perform additional tasks as required
