General Purpose of Position:
To complete all orders to meet our required ship date that may include assembling, drilling,
cutting, pick and packing of these orders in our Wall Protection areas.
Maior Responsibilities:
- Follow all pick and pack work instructions and procedures
- Pull, pack, assemble and/or modify material specified on work order or shipper
- Operate the necessary power tools or machinery to complete the assigned task
- Work closely with the Production Manager to complete all required work
- Receive all completed work orders into the AS400
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation associated with each order
- Maintain a high level of quality associated with all work in progress
- Put away material
- Maintain a clean safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The ability to read and write English
The ability to use required measuring equipment Ability to measure to the I/16th of an inch
Basic hand/power tool skills
The ability to read shop drawings
Good math skills including decimals, fraction and weights Good spatial perception for fork truck
operation
The ability to obtain a fork truck license
Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
