    Description

    JOB TITLE: Software Developer at XYZ Software Company

    Description of Services:

    • Develop, enhance, and maintain a large, custom web application with expertise in ASP.NET MVC using C#, Web API, and various Microsoft technologies.
    • Analyze and translate business requirements accurately.
    • Provide estimates for development efforts of application enhancements.
    • Enhance code to meet strict Agency security standards for readability, scalability, reusability, and performance.
    • Conduct unit tests using MSTest to ensure comprehensive code coverage.
    • Deploy code to Development and Test servers.
    • Update task progress in Jira/Bitbucket for effective management tracking.
    • Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and functionality.
    • Create implementation notes for code reviewers and testing teams to facilitate future maintenance.
    • Demonstrate new software features to stakeholders and end users.
    • Quick learning ability and adept at solving complex problems.
    • Identify and solve potential application and design issues efficiently.
    • Retrieve data from primary or secondary sources and manage databases effectively.
    • Communicate proficiently with management and application users.
    • Work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

    Candidate Skills and Qualifications:

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 8 or more years of experience in ASP.NET MVC with C#, Web API, and SQL Server.
    • Proficient in writing and executing unit tests using MSTest for optimal code coverage.
    • Experience with Jira & Bitbucket or similar tools.
    • Preferred 6 years of experience in developing the Intervention, Stage and Activity Manager (ISAM) application.
    • Preferred 6 years of experience in working on the Texas Education Agency Login (TEAL) environment, specifically the ISAM application used by campuses and districts.
