    Job Title: Developer/Programmer Analyst
    Duration: 8 Months with possible extension
    Location: Hybrid Role

    Job Description:
    Responsibilities/Tasks:
    • Develop, test, document, and follow use cases (testing scenarios), system setup, processes, system workflows, security role setup, transactions and others for custom Java applications.
    • Develop testing procedures to ensure that processes are compliant including access, workflow, and reporting.
    • Identify, document, research and problem-solve bugs/errors. Develop and communicate progress reports.
    Experience and Qualifications:
    • Required - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferably in Computer Science or a related field. Solid years of programming experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
    • Extensive training in various computer languages and hardware systems is required. Candidate must have seven (7) plus years of software development experience in client/server or web environment and experience working with and defining end-user requirements. Strong systems design and analysis, strong development experience in Java, JavaScript, HTML, JSP, XML, and SQL. Excellent technical skills including demonstrated proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, and multiple relational databases, especially Postgres. Knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques, UML, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, CASE tools, and data modeling are a plus.
    • Required knowledge of quality control principles such as root cause analysis, corrective actions, non-conformance, and standard processes.
    • Required strong computer skills including Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Slides, Docs, Forms), Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook); Flowchart maker and diagramming (Visio, , Lucid Chart), Project management tools (SmartSheet)and Learning Management Systems.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic school district environment, with an understanding of the nuances and challenges within an urban setting.
    • Professional cooperation and the ability to work in-office or remotely.
    Travel:
    • When required and authorized by the Client, the Contractor will perform services on-site at the designated campus and/or department for assistance or training. The frequency and duration of travel will be jointly determined.
    Logistics:
    • This position will have an opportunity for hybrid and location at the Client's headquarters.
