General Summary:


Seeking a high-energy, detail oriented, safety focused Project Coordinator to be part of an established professional services team providing program management services to investor-owned gas and electric utilities.

We provide clients with overall program management of complex system protection deployments in electrical transmission and distribution substations and circuits.

The Project Coordinator will be a key member of a dynamic team providing direct support to Program/Project Managers.


This position involves office and field deliverable activities, including survey and QA/QC reviews in high voltage electrical substations, test facilities and corporate campuses.

Commitment to safety is paramount.


Supervision Level:


  • Reports to Program Manager, Project Manager, or Team Lead.

Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate crossfunctional cooperation between dependent tasks and projects, identify risks/issues, develop mitigation solutions.
  • Responsible for administrative and operational project assignments involving detailed planning and tracking of schedules, budgets, procurement, action items, meeting minutes, file management, and process improvement tasks.
  • Assist in analyzing project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Schedule and coordinate site walks to review project scope with stakeholder(s).
  • Monitor project progress and provide administrative guidance on project execution.
  • Maintain project organizational chart and communication with all stakeholders as required.
  • Identify and raise issues and risks, recommend actions required to resolve.
  • Coordinate and track schedules and organize meetings.
  • Attend meetings, create and distribute minutes, track action items, and deliverable followup.
  • Collect and analyze project data, prepare project progress reports.
  • Maintain knowledge of all safety regulations and recommend improvements.
