Upper Valley Services (UVS) is seeking a kind, passionate, and patient person to support our individuals in an employment setting.

Support for the individual includes one-to-one guidance during employment, transportation assistance, tracking wages for social security reporting, and training other Direct Support Professionals for employment.

A few of the essential skills needed for this position are:

Strong communication and collaboration skills
Employment support experience
Engagement with adaptive technology
Ability to remain calm in difficult or emergent situations
Proficient with technology
Physically able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's in Human Services preferred.
Experience working with individuals with Developmental and Psychiatric disabilities.
Willing to train the right individual.

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Safe and reliable vehicle (with auto insurance) to be used to transport individual
Must be able to pass a background check
