Michael's House is currently seeking a dynamic
Full Time Residential Counselor*:
- NOC Shift** responsible for maintaining a safe milieu and providing patient-centered care for patients in a residential treatment setting that specializes in treating patients with co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares and/or conducts psychoeducational groups.
- Participates in milieu related meetings (i.e., level change, house meetings, etc.).
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year experience in the health field or equivalent
- Licensed or certified as a chemical dependency counselor preferred
- Must be registered to become licensed or certified as CA AOD counselor within 90 days of hire
- Experience working with addictions and/or cooccurring disorders strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
