Employee (m/f/d) for the promotion of volunteering and the management of legal guardianships in Cedar Knolls, NJ:


We are currently seeking a cross-sectional employee and association supervisor (m/f/d) for the Cura Guardianship Association in Cedar Knolls, NJ.

This role will involve advising and supporting volunteer legal guardians, as well as managing legal guardianships hours per week).


Your responsibilities:


  • As an association supervisor, you will act in accordance with §§ 1814 ff. of the German Civil Code and represent the legal and factual interests of adults within the scope of tasks determined by the local court (e.g. financial matters, housing affairs, healthcare, administrative matters, etc.).
  • Recruiting volunteer guardians
  • Planning and conducting introductory, informational, and training events for volunteer guardians
  • Providing individual and group consultations for volunteer guardians on social, psychosocial, psychological, and legal issues
  • Maintaining professional contacts with courts, guardianship authorities, and other institutions and professional circles
  • Public relations and networking
