Look no further As full or part-time Assisted Living Med Tech at Legacy House of South Jordan, you will have the opportunity to work onsite in our senior living community, engaging with residents and providing top-notch healthcare support. You'll get to choose from morning, afternoon, or night shifts.

    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTED LIVING MED TECH

    In this full or part-time role, you are a rockstar when it comes to ensuring the well-being of our senior living residents Not only are you a medication administration expert, but you also provide top-notch skin care and treat minor skin problems. You also help with changing simple dressings for non-infected chronic or postoperative conditions.

    From time to time, the licensed nurse on duty may delegate other tasks to you, and you're always willing to lend a hand wherever it's needed. Your contributions to our healthcare team make a genuine difference in the lives of our senior residents every single day. Your compassionate care, attention to detail, and expertise in medication administration set you apart as an exceptional assisted living med tech

    WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A MED TECH - MEDICATION AIDE?

    • A current caregiver certification
    • Ability to complete our designated training program as prescribed by the Wellness Director or the designated LPN or supervisor
    • Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and employees
    • Physical ability to assist in transferring residents and lifting people
    • Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stand/walk for long periods of time
    • A heart for serving seniors
