- Master of Science in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing
- Maintain current licensed as a registered professional nurse in Missouri
- Graduation and certification for Nurse Practitioner program; must maintain active certification
- Graduation and certification for Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program and/or certification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in OBGYN clinic, or other relevant Women's Health Clinical Specialty environment
- Current BCLS verification
- Certification affiliated with Women's Health service line
- Holds current Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a provider
- Demonstrates clinical expertise in area of specialty practice
- Demonstrates leadership ability
- 3-5 years Women's Health Clinical Specialty experience preferred

UH Truman Medical Center is located in the Health Sciences District of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. UH Lakewood Medical Center is located between Kansas City and Lee's Summit, Missouri, offering residents of Eastern Jackson County access to a modern community hospital with a continuum of outpatient services designed to meet the needs of families. UH Lakewood specializes in high-risk maternal and child care, and serves as one of the few Kansas City metro area institutions accredited by The Joint Commission in Orthopedics and Palliative Care. It also is home to a 188-bed, fully accredited long-term care center.
UH Behavioral Health is the KC metro area's largest, most comprehensive provider of mental health services. The
Crossroads Building , located in Kansas City's vibrant Crossroads Arts District, is its epicenter, providing a broad list of outpatient services. We also offer psychiatric inpatient care, and we deliver therapeutic services through our community outreach clinics. We are a leader in the Trauma-Informed Care Movement, and provide training, coaching and consulting to outside organizations.
Job Description
The Advance Practice Registered Nurse- Women's Health Clinical Specialty provides an advanced level of care in collaboration with OBGYN physicians and other members of the health care team to a specific patient population.
Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skill in the assessment and treatment of disease and management of health/illness where Clinical Specialty is a preferred treatment resource for patients.
May perform specific diagnostic and/or interventional procedures under the supervision of the physician.Minimum Requirements
