Bedford Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Recreation Aide to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY

Recreation Aide at The Allure Group, you would be part of a winning team doing meaningful work to improve residents' quality of life, health, and comfort.


Recreation Aide Responsibilities

  • Prepare recreational programs and activities to meet the functional levels, needs, and interests of residents
  • Maintain records of residents' attendance and participation in activities
  • Coordinate activities with other departments as necessary
  • Follow care plans in providing daily activities for residents
  • Encourage residents to take part in personal development
  • Promote physical, social, and mental wellbeing of residents

Recreation Aide Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in Mandarin
  • COVID19 Vaccination

Preferred

  • Experience with Seniors
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese
