We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee operations and drive excellence in our club.

In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, drive revenue growth, and provide the highest level of service to our members.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of club operations, including staffing, scheduling, and facility maintenance.
  • Work directly with linelevel team members to oversee departments such as the front desk, housekeeping, and snack bar, helping to ensure high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive membership growth and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize club performance.
  • Provide leadership and support to department managers and staff to ensure a positive member experience.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial management to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • This position requires a commitment of 45+ hours per week, including nights and weekends. Flexibility in schedule is required to meet the needs of the club and its members.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a management role within the fitness or hospitality industry, with a focus on operations.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving revenue goals.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities.
  • Knowledge of fitness club operations, including housekeeping, customer service, membership sales, group fitness, and personal training, is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
