Description
We are looking to speak with Asset Management Associates to join our client's global Financial Services group in Washington, DC.
You will join a team with extensive experience with the regulatory issues faced by asset managers and both registered and unregistered funds, including business development companies and exchange-traded funds. You will advise investment managers and broker-dealers with respect to investment advisory agreements, CFTC and NFA matters, and marketing and advertising issues.
You will have experience negotiating investment management agreements for large institutions and advisers and also assists clients integrate U.S. and non-U.S. regulatory requirements.
This is an opportunity to counsel clients on U.S. and cross-border registration issues, regulatory examinations, investment advisory agreements, the development and implementation of compliance programs, and a variety of other regulatory and commercial matters.
You will practice on advising U.S. registered investment companies, including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds, and their investment advisers on a wide variety of regulatory, compliance and business matters. You will also assist clients with developing and launching new funds, fund reorganizations and regulatory and compliance matters relating to new funds.
This is a time of intense regulatory change, and my client is at the forefront of probing, monitoring and reporting on developments. You will represent start-up boutique operations to some of the largest financial institutions and fund groups in the world.
