General Description

The goal of sanitation is to create a safe and hygienic work environment for food production. Employee must be able to follow directions as well as follow provided company policies and procedures.

Job Duties

Direct and coordinate all daily sanitation activities according to Master Sanitation Schedule.
Lead, motivate and develop sanitation personnel to achieve outstanding manufacturing and sanitation results.
Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and inspected for cleanliness while following lockout/tagout procedures and wearing proper personal protection equipment.
Train sanitation personnel in best practices, safety, and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
Responsible for completing and maintaining the daily sanitation records.
Responsible for reporting weekly chemicals inventory.
Ensure employees are following safety guidelines and PPE practice while handling chemicals.
Report equipment that is damaged, shows wear, or needs replacement to Supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements

Able to work in hot, cold, wet, and/or loud environments
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to lift, bend, twist, push, and pull materials.
Able to perform repetitive motions.
Required elements._
Employees will be furnished with work boots, smocks, gloves, outerwear and other PPE as needed based on job duties
