ssist Senior Engineer in developing Electrical Engineering projects utilizing new technology to constantly upgrade and improve site safety, efficiencies, cost controls, quality controls and protection of the environment.
Review, investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projects.Manage small to medium site construction, expansion or modification projects, and assists the Senior Engineer on large/complex site planning/construction, expansion or modifications.

Develop working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations appropriate to the area of assignment. ssist the Senior Engineer in contributing to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated Engineering areas. Develop and evaluate AFEs (Authorization for Expenditure) for capital funding requests. May represent the site on company sponsored steering committees, task forces, or teams. Preferred:
dvanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) Certification. Experience with or classes related to Power Systems Engineering. Experience with Power System Modeling software such as SKM, eTAP, etc. Familiarity with industrial AC and DC motors, VFDs and plant instrumentation. Familiarity with powerline layout, engineering and construction. Familiarity with MV power systems. Leadership and construction / mining experience. Knowledge and understanding of NEC & NFPA70E Regulations. Familiarity with designing Power, Instrumentation and Controls Systems. Experience with ETAP and AutoCAD or similar software for design. Self-motivated with an excellent work ethic. Proficiency in MS Office.
