Software Development and Calculation Engineer for Retrofits (m/f/d) - Full-time - Bruchsal, Germany

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Performing order-specific calculations, such as design of pressure casing, bearings, screws, and rotor dynamic calculations
  • Supporting the development of in-house calculation tools
  • Managing development projects in the service sector
  • Point of contact for hydraulic topics

What you bring to Sulzer:

  • Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering (ideally with a focus on fluid machinery), computational engineering, or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Basic knowledge of 2D (Medusa), 3D CAD (NX, Inventor)
  • Basic knowledge of scientific programming (VBA, Python, SQL, C#) and SAP
  • Experience with relevant standards such as AD2000, ASME Section VIII
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken
