Cloud Operations Manager

Purpose:

The organization's Information Technology requires a team to provide operational and technical support. The Cloud Operations Manager is responsible for managing Equus cloud computing system daily to ensure its reliability, scalability, and security. This position will eventually support all the APM owned subsidiaries in the US.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of cloud-based systems and services.
Lead and manage a team of cloud engineers.
Manage cloud infrastructure and services to ensure optimum functionality.
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to develop and implement cloud strategies aligned with business goals.
Ensure adherence to best practices for cloud architecture and design.
Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure for efficient operations.
Monitor and analyze cloud performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain cloud security protocols.
Manage cloud vendor relationships.
Provide technical expertise and guidance.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Qualifications:

Required Experience and Competencies:

Minimum 5 years' experience in managing cloud infrastructure.
10 years or more experience in cloud computing, networking, and security.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Azure Certification in cloud computing preferred.

Preferred Experience and Competencies:

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Knowledge of industry best practices for cloud computing.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Exposure to global business structures preferred.
