This is an excellent opportunity to join our established group with 9 full-time physicians, 3 PRN physicians, 2 nocturnists, and an advanced practitioner team.

Come enjoy year-round semi-tropical temperatures while making a big impact in the community
Full-time, employed opportunity based out of Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen
Shift based and does not include call; holidays rotated
Currently, 1 full-time nocturnist and a NP on shift between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Average patients per shift
Team covers all admissions at night per night)
Team responds to all calls from the floors at night
Typically, 1 resident available at night to help with up to 4 admissions
Open ICU; however the Intensivist team does most of the procedures and responds to hospital codes
Opportunity to teach internal medicine residents if desired

BE/BC with the American Board of Internal Medicine
Spanish-speaking skills a plus;
