Job DescriptionSUMMARY
Quinn is hiring a Core Processor.
The Core Processor will be responsible for Inspecting and processing of Caterpillar Remanufactured cores.
WAGES
Starting wage will depend on experience and education. $ $20.00
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities of a Core Processor include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Responsible for the accurate and detailed processing of Caterpillar Remanufactured cores. (Unloading, inspection, staging and loading)
· Inspection of cores to determine core value.
· Shipment of cores to Caterpillar Reman Facility.
· Customer notification of partial/no credit cores inspections.
· Files core reports and documents as required.
· Answer incoming calls and emails from internal and external customers. Resolve core processing issues. Demonstrate proper telephone techniques and etiquette.
· Process counter/shop core returns.
· Assists with resolution of core processing problems.
· Promptly respond to request with high sense of urgency.
· Elevate discrepancy issues to Parts Manager as needed.
· Assist in physical inventories and cycle count inventories.

QUALIFICTATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Forklift Certification and California Drivers License.
