Job Summary:

As a Project Manager for the Wisconsin Reading Center you are a valued resource and point of contact for sponsors, making your strong customer service and communications skills and ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities extremely important.


The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Customer Service. Act as client's primary point of contact; maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction; display precision in delivery and flexibility in approach; assume full responsibility for study conduct, ensuring client goals and timelines are met; perform troubleshooting and problem-solving functions as needed.
  • Protocol Management. Manage 10 to 15 projects, depending on scope and complexity; review clinical protocols and assist with setup functions as required; develop Charter Document; develop specific procedures as needed.
  • Evaluation & Training. Evaluate and communicate monthly project metrics and analyses of all activity related to the trial, including monthly budget review.
  • Documentation Management. Assume responsibility for required study documentation and comply with standard procedures for collecting, maintaining and archiving materials in accordance with regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

Manages a single project from start to finish or one phase of a large project under limited supervision.

  • 45% Creates a project plan, monitors progress and performance against the project plan, and identifies, resolves, or escalates risks and issues
  • 30% Manages the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
  • 5% Facilitates the estimation of project costs, resources, and time required to complete the assigned phase of a project and monitors activities, negotiates for resources, and assigns tasks to ensure these targets are met. Follows established change control processes if targets can no longer be met
  • 15% Prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
  • 5% Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and collaborates with project staff to meet project targets and milestones

Required
Bachelor's Degree


Qualifications:


Required:

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in a clinical research, or clinical trials or pharmaceutical or CRO.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of clinical project management.

Preferred:

  • Project Management Certificate or Clinical Trials Management.
  • Minimum 1 year of Project Management Experience.
  • Strong Interpersonal, collaboration and time management skills.

Work Type:

Full Time: 100%

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.


Appointment Type, Duration:

Terminal, 12 month appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding


Salary:


Minimum $65,449 ANNUAL (12 months)
