Shift: 1st

Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, implementing, training and maintaining the laboratory's point of care testing program.


EXPERIENCE:


  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment or Point of Care Coordinator role is required.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

EDUCATION:


  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, or Biology, with CLIArequired credits for a Technical Consultant role.

LICENSURE:


  • Medical Technologist (MT) Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Demonstrates strong problem solving and decision making skills.
