We are currently hiring for a R&D Administrative Coordinator to join our Deerfield Beach team.

In this role you will assist and support the R&D department with a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of the department; general administration tasks, organizing the R&D warehouse, managing/picking up raw materials for the local facility, assist on occasion data and system management for product safety and QC tasks.


Essential Duties

  • Organizes and maintains the warehouse in good condition.
  • Orders and picks up raw materials from the plants,as needed.
  • Purchases supplies as needed and requested by the department management.
  • Maintains inventories and perform orders for necessary raw materials, as well as any other supply need.
  • Run errands for materials and supplies, according to the laboratory demands.
  • Assists the R&D department with reporting and expense tracking.
  • Maintains and updates the R&D expenses and monitors them on monthly basis.
  • Performs assigned administrative support tasks for R&D Administration Manager as needed including calendaring, expense report preparation, phone call screening and answering, report preparation and publishing, departmental meal ordering, etc.
  • Assists the Product Safety Coordinators to enter formulas in the ERP system.
  • Checks the submitted formulas and raw materials for completeness and accuracy.
  • Inputs and maintains all QC specifications for raw materials and formulas.
  • Screens raw materials for regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains and obtains updated SDS for active raw materials to maintain authoring software.
  • Perform any other related tasks as directed by the Department Management.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
  • Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or the equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of related work experience, or any equivalent combination or related training and experience.
  • The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Use Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and the Internet, if required.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
