- 10+ years of combined experience across Die Engineering, Processing, Design, Verification, Tryout and Production.
- Bachelor's degree with a major in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, material engineering or other equivalent engineering areas
- In depth knowledge of die development and die processing. Basic concepts of die design.
- Basic level in using commercial software packages(Autoform, Dynaform, Pamstamp, LS-DYNA and/or similar formability analysis codes)
- Basic level in using NX, Vis Mockup, and Teamcenter Engineering skills
- High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others, motivate employees and elicit work output.
- High level of oral and written communications skills
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- Exhibits appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals
- In depth knowledge of secondary and primary tryout events and processes
- In depth knowledge of stamping press types, automation and simulations
- In depth understanding of weld tool systems, checking fixtures and ETACS
- Broad knowledge of tool and die, die to press interface issues and stamping critical success factors
- Specific knowledge of engineering discipline (e.g., CAE, mechanics, physics, materials, and manufacturing methods) within job-related area
- In depth knowledge of die design.
