SALARY:

The salary range for this position is $44,148.34 to $75,488.46 for Schedule A, and $44,148.34 to $71,714.04 for Schedule B.

For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range.

For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Judiciary employees hired prior to August 20, 2014, are considered Schedule A.

Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 20, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

The Judiciary offers a strong opportunity for growth._**The Superior Court Clerk's Office (SCCO) provides customer support in both general matters and technical issues for the entire judiciary and external customers, including but not limited to attorneys, police officers, judges, judiciary and other government staff and self-represented litigants.

The Superior Court Clerk's Office is also responsible for foreclosure case processing, filing statewide judgment liens and Superior Court records management.

The Information Systems Technician 2 position plays a key role in providing quality customer service to litigants seeking to access Judiciary systems or file documents with the court.


REMOTE WORK:

The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 3 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings.

To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.


Example of Duties:


  • Determine best response to computer console error conditions and respond accordingly
  • Explain judiciary policies or procedures to clients or customers
  • Follow up through resolution on helpdesk reports of operational, performance, or service delivery problems
  • Give advice, answer routine questions, or assist staff or team members with work in progress
  • Collaborate with staff or team members on workrelated matters
  • Provide first level/help desk support and response to user problems
  • Maintain operational documentation including operating procedures, emergency procedures, and error logs
  • Maintain security or confidentiality of records, equipment, or computer access
  • Perform related duties as required

Qualifications:


  • Two years of experience in the operation of a computer and peripheral equipment, network operations, and/or information technology support, for example, scheduling, customer service, or production implementation.

Substitution: Completion of a recognized certificate program in computer operations or network operations may be substituted for up to one year of required experience. A bachelor's or associate's degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, and/or cybersecurity may be substituted for the required experience
. Applicants who do not possess the required experience may substitute semester hour credits in a field related to Computer Science, Information Technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, Software Engineering, Computer Networking, and/or Cybersecurity from an accredited college or university for the required experience on a year for year basis with 30 semester hour credits being equal to one year of experience.
