We are currently looking for several positions as Media and Information Services Specialists (m/f/d) for the Leipzig City Libraries in Frytown, IA. These positions are available immediately and can be filled on a temporary or permanent basis.


The
Leipzig City Libraries (LSB) are an important part of the cultural and educational landscape of Leipzig, known as centers of communication and information.

With both central and decentralized locations, they are also part of the municipal service offering. In total, six positions are available.

  • One position is available immediately on a fulltime permanent basis.
  • Two positions are available immediately on a parttime permanent basis (19.5 hours per week). The working hours will be increased to fulltime (39 hours) until the end of 2023. An extension of this increase will be considered.
  • Three positions are available on a temporary basis until December 31, 2023, with a weekly working time between 33 and 37 hours. The temporary nature of these three positions is in accordance with § of the Part-Time and Fixed-Term Employment Act. This means that we cannot consider your application for these temporary positions if you have previously worked for the City of Leipzig, including all affiliated companies, or are currently employed on a fixedterm basis.
