- Provide leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize rehabilitation services, enhance patient outcomes, and achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, case managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate patient care and facilitate seamless transitions throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management of rehabilitation staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in rehabilitation therapy, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators, track rehabilitation outcomes, and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational excellence.
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
- Current licensure and certification in the respective discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in rehabilitation therapy management, preferably in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of rehabilitation therapy practices, techniques, and modalities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other digital healthcare technologies.
