Description
The Production Manager at Endress+Hauser's Temperature+System Products division leads the production team to meet fulfillment expectations. This role involves planning, managing, and coordinating the activities and resources essential for manufacturing products according to specifications.This role is responsible for driving initiatives to achieve cost, quality, and fulfillment objectives, all within a safe, inclusive, secure, and environmentally responsible work environment.
Role + ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all areas of manufacturing, collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish production goals of customer fulfillment and high quality.
Responsible for maintaining adequate production resource levels to meet production planning and fulfillment schedules and targets.
Responsible for the cost of poor quality within the Production area, which encompasses improving productivity, reducing cost, monitoring scrap and rework of internal NCRs
Responsible for managing production personnel including leading, motivating, and promoting individual development.
Responsible for generating training plans for production employees to ensure progression in roles and increasing production capabilities.
Actively develops manufacturing plans accommodating equipment changeover, downtime, and lifecycle, minimizing impacts to fulfillment and ensuring product quality.
Assesses manufacturing risks associated with machine and personnel capabilities. and generates risk reduction strategies.
Qualification + Profile
Basic computer skills and familiarity with common programs.
Ability to effectively present information to large and small groups.
Must have excellent and concise verbal and written communication skills.
Possess the ability to identify problems and resolve conflict.
Be able to understand business concepts and apply them.
1-3 years of experience of direct supervision.
Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP.
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) and years of experience in a technical environment years supervisory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in manufacturing and assembly processes related to process control instrumentation is desiredBenefits + Perks
