Are you someone who likes to have an overview? As a paper technologist (m/f/d), you work directly at the paper machine.

You are, figuratively speaking, the captain, steering the machines and responsible for their smooth functioning.

Using computers, you monitor production, regularly check all functions, such as temperature, levels, pressure, pH values, and ensure that the quality is always top-notch.

The work of a paper technologist is varied, versatile, and quite responsible. You have the strings in your hand.

What you bring:

  • At least a good secondary school leaving certificate or intermediate educational qualification
  • You are good at math and physics
  • You have technical interest and manual dexterity
  • You enjoy working in a team
  • Willingness to work in shifts

What awaits you:

  • Collective agreement-based training allowance: 1,197 in the 1st year, 1,263 in the 2nd year, 1,322 in the 3rd year 13th salary and vacation pay
  • Training duration of 3 years, possible reduction
  • Dual training also as a vocational college with the possibility of obtaining a nationally recognized technical college entrance qualification (prerequisite is a good intermediate school leaving certificate)
  • Block lessons at the papermaker school in Gernsbach, with free accommodation
