Diligent Delivery Systems is seeking a dynamic and motivated Driver Recruiter to join our Independent Contractor Resources Department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to connect top talent with impactful career opportunities. As the initial point of contact for potential drivers, you will play a vital role in developing and executing robust recruitment strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

This is an on-site position and not a remote opportunity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Locate potential drivers who meet DOT and company standards.
  • Conduct background checks and MVR checks for potential contractors.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of driver information, insurance, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with management to identify independent contractor driver needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls while maintaining engaging conversations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 24 years of experience in a customerdriven environment
  • Transportation and logistics recruiting experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous sales or highvolume recruiting experience is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time resources effectively.
  • Understanding of meeting timesensitive deadlines
  • Using discretion regarding sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy
  • Proficient in utilizing multiple recruitment platforms: job boards, social media platforms, search

$50, $55,000.00 per year
