    Our mission is to help customers predictably estimate project costs for construction and communicate with stakeholders to determine the optimal project plan.

    Modern construction estimating is a significant challenge and existing solutions revolve around spreadsheet nightmares Michael Navarro was an estimator at Suffolk and saw a better way.

    He built a tool that now 200+ estimators use at Suffolk, dramatically improving estimating and collaboration.

    This year, he teamed up with Dustin DeVan, founder of BuildingConnected (which was acquired by Autodesk for $275 million), to form Ediphi and to launch this product as a SaaS offering for GCs around the country.

    We're seeking

    experienced DevOps engineers

    to join our Backend Platform team

    Responsibilities:
    Work with development teams to understand how their projects will be deployed and operate in production

    Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions

    Manage and improve our AWS infrastructure, including ECS Fargate for container orchestration

    Build and manage Docker images for our applications

    Monitor system performance (Datadog, Sentry) and troubleshoot issues


    Take a lead role in design discussions and make critical technical decisions to drive product development in a fast-paced startup environment.


    Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards (we have many of these in place but want your help to improve them even further).


    Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback, fostering continuous improvement and a culture of learning and growth.

    Mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and contributing to their professional growth.


    Necessary Qualifications:
    Minimum 4+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration

    Experience with AWS services, particularly ECS Fargate

    Infrastructure as code (using tools like Pulumi, Terraform, or Cloudformation)

    Strong experience with Docker containerization

    Experience with GitHub and implementing CI/CD pipelines

    Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

    Deeply care about user experience and product quality.

    Nice-to-have Qualifications:

    Proficient in SQL (Postgres ideally) and TypeScript.

    Experience with Pulumi to manage infrastructure as code.

    Experience with RDS/Aurora.

    Worked with remote teams in the past and enjoy contributing to a remote-first culture.

    Experience working on (and are passionate about) great SaaS products.

    Experience with collaborative teams using Scrum.
