Responds to requests and emergency calls for assistance, and conducts periodic inspection tours of the hospital grounds.
Monitors the CCTV security system and patrols hospital grounds to detect unauthorized persons or vehicles.
Participates in fire drills, crisis prevention intervention training, and court appearances as needed to provide testimony.
Completes incident reports, maintains logs, secures patients' property, and performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Security.
Two (2) years of related work experience preferred.Required to hold (or be eligible for) either a valid State of Florida D Security License or a valid State of Florida G Security License.
