- Performs credit analysis on end-user financing customers, incorporating company policies, promotions and programs into the decision making process, with the goal of fostering the sale of PACCAR products.
- Reviews and approves, modifies or declines retail collateralized transactions within established credit authority, and communicates decisions to dealer.
- Responsible for timely and accurate disposition of all assigned credit proposals.
- Makes recommendations to management on proposals beyond the analyst's credit authority.
- Prepares fleet credit proposals for management review as assigned.
- Actively participates in evaluating customer credit quality and ongoing financial stability.
- Performs retail and wholesale financial analysis as assigned.
- 2-5 years of asset based underwriting or related experience. Knowledge of credit and finance functions a bonus
- Must possess strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated oral communication and negotiating skills.
- Financial statement analysis and interpretation skills.
- Heavy equipment or commercial lending and dealer network experience highly desired.
- Strong business writing skills.
- BA/BS degree in finance, business or related field required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
