Duties:


  • Directs the conduct of the JFHQ-DODIN budget, including formulation, presentation, and execution.
  • Directs compilation of fiscal planning, programming, reprogramming, and status reporting data for use by the Commander, Deputy Commander, and senior staff.
  • Reviews and evaluates proposed changes to the JFHQ-DODIN organizational structure, assignment of responsibility and functions, and utilization of resources.
  • Evaluates funding resource plans and specifications in coordination with cost analysts to develop cost data.
  • Manages project budget requirements and formulates project budget requirements and strategies for all aspects of Directorate functional areas.
  • Supervises the office staff in performing assignments related to the resource management mission including monitoring contract program planning and execution, as well as program review and analysis.

Qualifying Experience:To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.

For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in developing, determining, and interpreting of budgetary policies and practices, directing and/or performing continued program execution review, analysis, and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.**
Education:
There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GG-14 grade level.

  • This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.

  • This position has been designated as "Mission Essential." Incumbent will be required to report to work or relocate to a new duty location, within the United States, in times of local/national emergency.
  • PPP Application Based Preference Eligibles (Military Reserve and National Guard technicians, Military Reserve and National Guard technicians receiving disability retirement, and Retained Grade employees) will receive priority consideration at the full performance level only.
