Responsibility for the department "Central Security Services", its associated subunits, as well as their profitability and results

Alignment of the department with the BWI's information security strategy and the CCITS business mandate
Implementation and use of the ITIL framework to optimize service management and delivery, as well as process integration into applicable BWI processes
Development and maintenance of a robust and efficient service architecture that meets IT security and compliance requirements
Ensuring smooth operation and continuous development of security services, taking into account constantly changing threats and technologies
Identification and analysis of strategically significant issues
Central point of contact and escalation point for the BWI, clients, and stakeholders, providing information and advice within their area of responsibility
Technical and disciplinary leadership of experienced managers and employees
Successfully completed studies in (business) informatics, with a focus on IT security, or a comparable qualification
At least ten years of proven experience in managing an IT security service department, preferably in large complex organizations
Certified deep expertise in IT security and IT service management (e.g. ITIL, CISSP, CISM)
Extensive experience in managing security services, especially in the areas of malware detection, device control, application control, password management, encryption, and PKI services
Proven experience in leading and developing large teams and experienced managers
