Are you looking to join a dynamic team in the manufacturing industry? QSSI's Pacific Die Cast Division in Walden, NY is seeking a dedicated Production/Warehouse Associate to contribute to our fast-paced and innovative environment.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assembling and inspecting lighting products, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, and maintaining efficient production processes.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Operate and monitor assembly machinery to ensure proper product assembly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workstation free of hazards.
  • Troubleshoot and address production equipment issues promptly.
  • Handassemble product parts and use power tools for various tasks.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
  • Prepare products for shipment and assist with warehouse tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and standards.
  • Report any production issues to the supervisor.

Starting Rate of Pay:

$17.00/hour


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:


  • Fulltime position, Monday to Friday from 8
:
30 a.m. to 5:
00 p.m.

  • Lunch break and two 15minute breaks provided.
  • No travel required for this position.

Work Environment:


  • Warehouse setting with moderate to heavy physical activity.
  • Handling of fragile products may be required.

Requirements:


Competencies:


  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in hazardous conditions.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely.
  • Effective time management and physical stamina.
  • Knowledge of production equipment and ability to identify malfunctions.

Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in assembly, factory, or warehouse setting recommended.
