Valverde Construction Inc is seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to join our team. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.


Duties:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Provide safety training to employees on various topics including OSHA regulations and emergency response procedures
• Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents
• Collaborate with management to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:

• Education in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• Proven experience working in safety compliance, risk management, or related field
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification in EHS or related field is a plus

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience with construction management software
• Knowledge in Trench and Excavation
• Understanding of construction management principles
• Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels

Pay:
$77, $84,508.00 per year

• 8 hour shift

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• Certified Safety Professional (preferred)
• OSHA 30 (required)
