    Job Description Description:
    Nationwide Housing Corporation is seeking a part time to full time skilled maintenance technician to join our team.

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living community for all residents, including residential units, building common areas, and community grounds for two properties located in Montevideo and Appleton, MN.


    Maintenance Technician's serve as an ambassador for Nationwide Housing Corporation and the property, promoting positive resident and staff interactions, effective communication and a proactive and responsive approach to resident and staff needs.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    This position ensures that all building mechanical systems are in good working order.
    Performs preventative, corrective and routine work orders.
    Conducts timely turnovers of residential units.
    Inspections and General Maintenance of the facility.
    Ensures the grounds and buildings are well maintained.
    Provides excellent customer service.
    *On call is required in this position.

    Job Type:
    Part time to Full-time

    Requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent required.
    Two or more years of experience in the maintenance of Mechanical Equipment and/or maintenance-related fields required.
    Two or more years' experience with Maintenance Engineer responsibility required, preferably in a residential setting.
    State of MN 2nd Class "C" Boilers license preferred.
    Must be able to work on-call during nights and weekends to support emergency maintenance needs and/or contact maintenance vendors.
