    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Technician at HON Partners. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs in occupied homes. In addition, The role will require working in High Opportunity Neighborhoods in Minneapolis, MN.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of general maintenance and repairs including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry
    • Troubleshooting skills and general resourcefulness required
    • Experience in preventive maintenance
    • Industrial Maintenance experience
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently
    • Excellent communication skills with tenants, partner vendors, and corporate personnel
    • Knowledge of rental licensing maintenance requirements and section 8 compliance items
    • Ability to develop relationships with tenants, vendors, city officials and housing authorities
