Job Summary:

Seeking a full-time scheduler and Intake Coordinator. The Intake Coordinator will welcome, orientate, complete intake paperwork, and align clients with appropriate programs at MRC. They gather information about the client, create client records, and maintain client files. They coordinate and set tours, intake appointments, orientate, and schedule Client services. They also answer questions related to services and facilitate referrals when necessary.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining and optimizing client and staff schedules
  • Logging, documenting, and updating database of all reports and paperwork received/due from clinical staff, and clients
  • Answering high volume of calls
  • Coordinating all referrals within a timely manner
  • Coordinates and conducts all tours and intakes
  • Working closely with clinical staff and other staff in central support, billing, and programs
  • Responding to service inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintaining good customer relations
  • Must be a problem solver
  • Performing related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, scanning, faxing, and photocopying
  • Assisting other program staff and be a strong team player
  • Maintains confidentiality of client information
  • Follows all regulatory compliance
  • Completes other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Criminal records, driving and recipient rights screening required
  • Valid Michigan driver's license, good driving record and the availability of licensed, insured vehicle for use on the job required.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Should be process oriented
  • Must be able to enforce policies and procedures and be comfortable influencing
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, and electronic health records Strong Communication skills (both speaking and writing is required)

Education and Experience:


  • At least two years of patient/client scheduling preferred
  • Associate degree strongly preferred, but not required

Work Conditions:


  • May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites
  • Travel in the community
  • Sitting for extended periods
