Position Overview
The Assistant Category Manager coordinates the product development process, tasks, and timelines through the PPM tool. Provides direct support to CMs with routine product development tasks.
Essential Job Functions

  • Track product development process within PPM tool.
  • Drive timelines and followup with individuals (functions, CMs) as needed to deliver tasks against timeline.
  • Maintain product data in PPM tool and provide data updates as requested by others (e.g., DSMs for sell sheets).
  • Launch and track requests with other functions (design, graphics, sourcing).
  • Track and coordinate competitive data and samples.
  • Manage SWOT and showroom area.
  • Monitor category and competition and assist with content creation for social media outlets.
  • Perform all necessary support tasks to enable process (IHA prep, sample shipping, delivery tracking).

Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's level degree
  • Experience: 0 2 years related experience
  • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc: Windows, MS Office
  • Working Conditions: General office environment
  • Other Skills/Abilities: Analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize and react to changing requirements with a sense of urgency.
